Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Golf to deliver a personalized, expert service to athletes on the floor in Huntsville, AL. You will help customers find the right golf equipment, share product knowledge, and drive sales through strong service.

You’ll contribute to a welcoming store environment, assist with onboarding, and uphold merchandising standards while supporting store programs and goals. Prior retail experience is preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as a subject matter expert of their area.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage, and inventory practices.
• Promotes customer participation in programs such as loyalty, warranties, and credit card enrollment.
