Job summary

Five Iron Golf Boston LLC is seeking friendly Golf Attendants to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our Boston venue. You will interact with guests, demonstrate the golf simulators, and upsell offerings such as lessons, leagues, and memberships.

The role emphasizes mornings and afternoons with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour plus tips. Previous hospitality or golf experience is helpful but not required, and applicants must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required.
• Upbeat energy and enthusiasm.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience.
• Check in with guests at the bar and in simulators to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Develop knowledge of golf simulators to guide guests in gameplay and data outputs.
• Assist in organizing golf bag storage, equipment, and basic simulator maintenance.
• Sell and cross-sell across products and services, including lessons, leagues, and memberships.
• Provide engaging tours of the facility.
• Follow Five Iron standards for guest engagement and upselling.
• Present menus, answer questions about food and beverage offerings, and upsell where appropriate.
• Use POS terminals to enter orders and process payments.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Ensure simulators and surrounding areas are clean and guest-ready.
• Follow health and safety regulations and verify guests' legal drinking age.
