Five Iron Golf is expanding its team in Boston to hire a part-time Host who will oversee all front desk operations and report to the General Manager. The role emphasizes guest welcome, reservations, and guiding guests to simulators or bars, with a focus on excellent customer service.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and hospitality skills, with nights and weekends as part of the schedule. Benefits are offered for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required.
• Experience in managing reservations.
• Demonstrable customer-service skills.
• Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in-person.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue with a smile and positive 5i attitude.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Manage reservations in MindBody, our booking software.
• Escort customers to assigned simulator or bar areas.
• Provide information on specials as well as memberships and league information.
• Acknowledge customers upon their departure.
• Coordinate with wait staff about available simulator options.
• Maintain a clean reception area.
• Answer incoming calls and address customers’ inquiries.
• Assist other staff as needed.
