Position Purpose

Oversees the acceptance and distribution of all parcels related to retail for hotel guests, internal guests, and hotel functions. Ensures that all information regarding shipping, receiving, and distribution of retail items is maintained accurately and organized. Also oversees the inventory process.

Examples Of Duties

• Reconcile purchase orders and invoice records in accordance with Trump standards.
• Interview, select, train, and supervise staff, including managing costs and discipline, to ensure smooth retail storeroom operations.
• Manage records and perform administrative functions of the department.
• Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing products.
• Handle all month-end information submissions to Finance related to Retail.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies on invoices and deliveries.
• Coordinate with the retail team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise to retail outlets on the property.
• Inspect incoming merchandise to meet quality standards and report issues to Retail Supervisors and the Director of Retail.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving areas.

Other

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may need to work varying schedules based on the hotel's needs. Regular attendance is essential; irregular attendance may result in disciplinary action, including termination. Associates are expected to provide “Lateral Service” to maximize customer satisfaction, supporting colleagues as needed and notifying supervisors if support could potentially dissatisfy a guest.

Additional duties may include assisting during high business demands and performing other assigned tasks.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent sitting, constant walking, standing, crouching, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision and hearing are frequently required; occasional travel may be needed.

Other Duties

Involves understanding and supporting the Trump Cornerstones and demonstrating service standards.

Safety Requirements

Use of PPE may be required; proper use and reporting of defective PPE is mandatory.

Qualification Standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred.
• At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality and supervisory roles.
• No specific licenses or certificates required.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance as per uniform guidelines.
