Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric seeks a Golf Service Ambassador to assist members and guests with bag, golf cart, range, valet, and caddie services in a hospitality-focused club environment.

Applicants should have golf course experience; valet/caddie experience preferred; PGA status preferred; valid driver's license; and the ability to lift and stand for long periods. Responsibilities include cart prep, range maintenance, and on-course assistance.

Qualifications

• Previous golf course experience required.
• Valet and/or caddie experience preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable industry software programs preferred.
• Member of the PGA or PGA Apprentice program actively working to attain PGA Professional status preferred.
• Knowledge of the game of golf and its rules preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, repetitive motions, and continuous standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional appearance and attitude and remain courteous to members and guests at all times.
• Safely valet member and guest vehicles as needed.
• Stage, inspect, and prepare golf carts for use.
• Load bags onto golf carts and return bags to storage after play.
• Set up and break down practice areas daily.
• Transport, sort, wash, and stock range balls.
• Maintain the appearance and supply levels of all practice areas and assist golfers while practicing.
• Anticipate and comply with member and guest needs while monitoring the learning center and first tee as needed.
• Retrieve range balls using a ball picker.
• Clean and reset golf carts after use, check for damage, and connect chargers.
• Advise the Pro Shop of items found on the course for lost and found.
• Clean clubs and maintain rental equipment.
• Provide on-course player assistance and caddie duties as needed.
• Maintain security, cleanliness, and order of stored golf equipment.
• Tow broken carts to maintenance and assist with maintenance and repair when necessary.
• Perform golf club repair as needed.
• Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned, including golf shop coverage and assistance.
