Cacapon Resort State Park is seeking a Tourism Program Specialist 2 (Golf Director) to oversee all Golf Pro Shop operations and manage golf course activities. The successful candidate will possess a four-year track record in travel promotion or related fields, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in travel promotion, marketing, operations, management, or sales for travel-related hospitality, or state government.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all Golf Pro Shop operations.
• Market and develop golf programs to boost local and tourist use of the course.
• Coordinate with internal resort departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage golf merchandise procurement and revenue reporting policies.
• Supervise golf course staff including hiring, scheduling, training and evaluations.
