Job summary

Big Cedar Lodge seeks a Head Golf Professional to lead golf operations at Ozarks National. You will supervise the golf shop, outside services, and practice facilities while coordinating with other departments to deliver five-star guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have a related degree and 3+ years in golf management, with strong leadership, customer service, and budgeting skills. PGA membership and a drive for hospitality excellence are valued at this resort.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Valid membership in the PGA of America preferred; or PGA Apprentice progressing toward a Class A membership in Level 2 PGA PGM.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry
• Self-motivated with a passion for hospitality
• Detail oriented
• A safe driving record, MO Class E driver's license

Responsibilities

• Oversee reservation/tee sheet system, check-in experience, pace of play.
• Track and verify players and guests, green fees, golf carts, club care, lockers, and other charges.
• Proficient in Golf Genius software.
• Oversee the operations of the practice facility.
• Ensure proper storage, safety, and cleaning of golf equipment.
• Administer the Rules of Golf and educate associates.
• Develop, maintain, update, and utilize customer database.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise all golf operations staff.
