Leisure World Arizona is seeking a Golf Professional to support the Head Golf Professional in tee times, course play, and events. You will provide instruction, run clinics, and help with merchandising and cart fleet operations to ensure an exceptional member experience.

The role requires two years of golf course experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Northstar POS experience is preferred as part of daily operations and sales activity.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of golf course experience.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Fundamental knowledge of golf, rules, facility operations, and tournament operations.
• POS experience, preferably with Northstar.

Responsabilités

• Assist Head Golf Professional in tee times, course play, tournaments and outings.
• Provide golf instruction and golf clinics.
• Assist in opening and closing of golf operations and member check-in.
• Maintain and assist with inventory, merchandising, orders, receiving, displays and sales.
• Assist in managing golf cart fleet, practice facility, and club storage.
• Provide club repair and club fitting services to Members.

The Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf operation; tee times, course play, tournaments and outings, lessons, merchandising, training, etc. They provide highly efficient and superior customer service, maintain and provide daily records to assist head golf professional with reports.Assists in the day-to-day operations of the golf department. Manages the daily opening and closing of golf operations as needed. Assist with Member check-in; control and manage play.Provide golf instruction and golf clinics.Effectively manages numerous types of tournaments from start to finish, including participation in meetings. Develop and implement clinics and camps.Operates golf shop ensuring it is maintained in a neat and clean manner.
