Job summary

Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District seeks a Golf Pro Shop Assistant Manager to support daily Pro Shop and Outside Services operations. You will oversee staff, assist with merchandising, tournaments, and guest experiences, and help ensure smooth cart barn and practice facility activities.

The role requires strong customer service, golf operations knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Monday–Sunday shifts and a team environment are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year in golf operations or related field.
• Golf industry experience and/or PGA affiliation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Pro Shop and Outside Services, including staff guidance.
• Assist with merchandising, purchasing, pricing, and inventory control.
• Supervise part-time staff, schedule, and training.
• Assist with planning, coordinating, and promoting tournaments and events.
• Open/close Pro Shop; manage cash deposits and daily reports.
