Job summary

Hiddenbrooke Golf Club is seeking a Player Assistant to ensure guests have an exceptional golf experience. You will assist with guest check-ins, monitor pace of play, and help maintain a safe and enjoyable course environment.

The role requires basic golf knowledge, reliable attendance, and availability for weekend shifts. You will coordinate with the Head Golf Professional and other team members to communicate schedule changes and ensure safety on the course.

Qualifications

• General understanding of the game of golf.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the Head Golf Professional to learn about the day's activities, events, golf course conditions, and information needed by players.
• Maintain friendly and enthusiastic social presence with introductions.
• Monitor the course to ensure players observe golf course and golf cart rules.
• Coordinate the flow of play on the course and address pace issues with slower groups.
• Keep the course clean during downtime between players.
• Communicate with staff to learn of schedule changes and assist in providing a safe and enjoyable experience.
