Job summary

CENTURY GOLF PARTNERS MANAGEMENT is seeking a friendly Starter/Player Assistant for PGA West Private Courses. The role greets members and guests, shares essential course information, and monitors pace of play to maintain decorum on the course.

Successful candidates will demonstrate golf knowledge, punctuality, and strong communication skills, with the ability to work early mornings or closing shifts in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and experience with etiquette, pace of play, and course care.
• Punctuality; Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and understanding.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; early or closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests on the first tee or tenth tee and inform them of course information.
• Monitor pace of play and enforce course policies when on duty.
• Rake bunkers, fix ball marks, and care for the course as needed.
• Perform other duties to assist players and maintain course health.
