Job summary

IMG Golf, a leading global sports marketing agency, seeks an Event Coordinator for North America to support tournament operations across IMG Golf Events. Based in Palm Beach Gardens, you will help coordinate timelines, vendor contracts, and onsite logistics to deliver first-class experiences.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of hands-on event operations, with strong communication and the ability to travel and work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on event operations experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple logistical and tactical projects.
• Ability to create and deliver detailed operational planning timelines.
• Proven success coordinating vendor relationships and contracts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and travel.
• Proficiency with office software; Autocad or plotting software is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate operational timelines, including set-up and tear-down schedules, as directed by Operations Director / Tournament Director.
• Support Operations Director / Tournament Director on vendor identification, negotiations, contracting and site plans.
• Coordinate all vendor contracts for the operation of the tournament and ancillary programming.
• Develop and evaluate Vendor RFPs across all tournament operations categories.
• Liaise with operational vendors (tents, scaffolding, flooring, restrooms, offices, fencing, signage, storage, power/HVAC, catering, waste, ecology, equipment rentals, parking).
• Support staff with overall course and operational setup.
• Assist in placement of equipment and temporary facilities on-site.
