Job summary

IMG Golf is seeking an Events Coordinator, North America (Operations) to support planning, coordination, and flawless execution of tournament operations for The Classic in Corning, NY. You will manage timelines, vendors, and on-site logistics to ensure a first-class presentation.

The role requires 2+ years in event operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and travel as needed. Autocad or plotting software is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• 2+ years of hands-on event operations experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple logistical projects and timelines.
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate operational timelines with setup and tear-down schedules.
• Support vendor identification, negotiations, contracting and site plan for first-class presentation.
• Manage vendor contracts and cost-saving initiatives across tournament operations.
• Develop and evaluate Vendor RFPs for all tournament operations categories.
• Provide load-in/load-out assistance and support for exhibitors and volunteers.
