Job summary

IMG Golf Events seeks an experienced Event Manager to drive strategic development of site builds and deliver premier experiences for fans, sponsors, and players. You will coordinate with host sites, vendors, and staff to ensure flawless execution across tournaments.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field and 4+ years in event management, plus strong communication, negotiation, and travel willingness. The role demands long hours and national travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on event management experience.
• Experience coordinating strategic, logistical and tactical projects.
• Ability to manage detailed operating plans and timelines.
• Proven success in managing partner relationships including vendors and sponsors.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop short and long range site build plans to deliver best-in-class experiences for all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with host site staff for team alignment and delivery.
• Manage and communicate operational timelines including setup and tear-down schedules.
• Work with Tournament Director/Senior Director on vendor identification, negotiations and site plan.
• Coordinate all vendor contracts for event operations and ancillary events.
• Collaborate with vendors on temporary structures and branding per site plan.
• Ensure fulfillment of partner contracts and support of volunteers.
• Actively manage an extensive operations budget.
• Establish health & safety plan with local stakeholders and security partners.
• Develop sustainability initiatives in line with sponsors and organizers.
• Plan with city/county/state officials on permits and approvals.
• Support office administration and risk management as needed.
