Job summary

IMG Golf, Events seeks an Event Coordinator, Golf – North America (Operations Coordinator) in Corning, NY. You will support planning, coordination and execution of tournament operations for The Classic LPGA event, coordinating vendors, timelines and on-site logistics.

Applicants should have 2+ years in event operations, strong vendor relationships, and the ability to work non-traditional hours. Proficiency in office software and Autocad is a bonus; travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on event operations experience.
• Experience creating and delivering detailed operational planning timelines.
• Proven ability to coordinate vendor, supplier and community partner relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours and weekends; ability to travel.
• Proficiency with office and relevant operational software.
• Experience with Autocad is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate operational timelines and set-up/tear-down schedules.
• Support vendor identification, contracting and site plans for first-class events.
• Coordinate vendor contracts for tournament operation and programming.
• Develop and evaluate vendor RFPs across operations categories.
• Liaise with vendors for tents, flooring, restrooms, trailers, fencing, signage, power, etc.
• Assist in course and operational setup and delivery on-site.
• Manage temporary office trailers, POLs, and restroom trailers placement.
• Track furniture delivery to hospitality venues and trailers.
• Receive and deliver shipments on-site; manage on-site storage and equipment drops.
• Coordinate barricades, access routes, and PPE as needed.
• Oversee vendor fleets and temporary labor; load-in/out for exhibitors.
• Support volunteer committees and cross-team operational planning.
