Job summary

IMG Golf is seeking an Event Coordinator for the North America region to support planning, coordination and execution of tournament operations, with a focus on The Classic in Corning, NY. This role requires coordinating timelines, vendor contracts, and on-site logistics, ensuring top-tier presentation and cost-conscious delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of hands-on event operations experience.
• Experience coordinating vendors, timelines, and on-site logistics.
• Proficiency with office and operational software.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and weekends; ability to travel.
• Collaborative and proactive with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate operational timelines for events.
• Support vendor identification, negotiations, contracting and site plans.
• Manage vendor contracts and ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery.
• Develop and evaluate vendor RFPs across tournament operations.
• Liaise with vendors including tents, scaffolding, catering, and more.
• Assist in on-site load-in/load-out and setup for staff and exhibitors.
• Support volunteers and operational committees and assist with planning.
