IMG Golf, Events in Corning, NY is seeking an Event Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of tournament operations for The Classic, a new LPGA Event in Corning, NY.

The role focuses on coordinating vendor contracts, site plans, and on-site operations, with 2+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree. Extended hours and travel are required as part of event production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• 2+ years of hands-on event operations experience.
• Experience coordinating vendors, suppliers and community partners.
• Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours.
• Proficiency with Autocad or plotting software is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate operational timeline with detailed set-up and tear-down schedules.
• Support vendor identification, negotiations, and site plan to ensure first-class presentation.
• Coordinate all vendor contracts and manage cost savings and delivery standards.
• Develop and evaluate Vendor RFPs across tournament operations.
• Liaise with operational vendors including tents, flooring, restrooms, office trailers, fencing, signage, storage, power/HVAC, catering, waste management and ecology.
• Assist in placement of course and operational setup.
• Load-in/load-out assistance to exhibitors and vendors.
• Provide support to volunteer committees and operational planning.
• Participate in special projects and other related duties.
