Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is seeking a friendly Starter to welcome golfers, help manage tee times, and uphold course etiquette. You will assist the Golf Professional, answer questions about the facility, enforce dress code, monitor pace of play, and support group events.

Prior hospitality and customer service experience are preferred, with a high school education required. Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings,

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• At least one-year customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet every golfer prior to the start of their round.
• Assure that all golfers have checked in at the golf shop.
• Provide information regarding history of the facility, course information, and rules.
• Assist with the dress code policy.
• Monitor the pace of play.
• Assist with group events for the Tournament Director.
