Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX invites an experienced Greenskeeper to maintain our 27-hole course to Hyatt standards. You will perform daily tasks including mowing, bunkers, cups, markers, weed eating, and turf care to ensure pristine playing conditions.

This role requires outdoor work in all weather, physical stamina, and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the Hyatt family.

Qualifications

• This position requires outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel and walk.
• Flexible schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Mowing greens, tees, fairways and roughs to Hyatt standards.
• Raking bunkers and changing cups and tee markers as needed.
• Manicuring lake banks and other course areas.
• Weed eating and turf maintenance; aerifying, topdressing and verticutting tees, greens and fairways.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.

Must be available to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays.

Role

The Greenskeeper is responsible for completing his or her assigned jobs throughout the course of the day. The jobs will include: Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs; driving the bunker rake; changing cups and tee markers; manicuring lake banks and other areas on the course; weed eating; aerifying, topdressing and verticutting tees, greens, fairways; and performing other jobs as may be assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to maintain the condition of the course to Hyatt standards.
