Job summary

White Plains Golf Club, part of Troon, seeks a General Manager in Pageland, SC to lead golf operations, guest relations, and financial performance.

The role requires directing policies, supervising staff, and driving community engagement. Flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays is important; a four-year degree is preferred but not required, with significant supervisory experience expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as General Manager or similar club leadership.
• Four-year college degree preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication required.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and staff leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate projects and delegate responsibilities.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor annual budget and revenue goals.
• Review financial reports and take corrective action as needed.
• Establish personnel policies and employee training programs.
• Ensure HR procedures are followed by management staff.
• Develop and maintain an effective organizational plan.
• Attend workshops to stay updated on industry trends.
• Oversee maintenance of facilities and assets.
• Coordinate marketing to promote services to customers.
• Maintain high standards for food and beverage service.
• Interview, hire, train, and manage staff; address issues.
• Direct department teams and ensure proper orientation and training.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
