Job summary

Troon, the global leader in golf and community management, seeks a General Manager for Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club in Flagstaff, AZ. You will lead all club operations, manage budgets, and develop a high-performance team to deliver outstanding member and guest experiences within a private club setting.

The role requires strong leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and prior supervisory experience, with flexibility for weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is a requirement for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all club operations, ensuring exceptional member and guest experience.
• Develop, manage, and monitor operating and capital budgets and business forecasts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders and associates through recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HR procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
• Oversee maintenance and long-term planning of club facilities, grounds, and assets.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive operational excellence across golf, food & beverage, and amenities.
• Partner with leadership on marketing, membership, and community engagement initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative, service-focused culture and build relationships with members, guests, vendors, and community.
• Directly supervise department leaders.
• Maintain active involvement in industry organizations and pursue ongoing professional development.
