Job summary
VISION INFOTECH INC. seeks a hands-on Golang Developer to migrate features from a legacy credential system to HashiCorp Vault in a remote, six-month engagement.
The role requires 12+ years of Golang experience, strong Vault knowledge, and cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP) to support production systems with secure IAM practices. Responsibilities include building Vault capabilities, developing integrations, and contributing to DevOps tasks while aligning with architectural standards and Agile
Qualifications
- 12 years of hands-on Golang experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming concepts and ability to design robust, scalable software solutions.
- Strong hands-on HashiCorp Vault experience, including authentication backends, secret engines, and plugin development.
- Experience with at least one public cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to support production applications and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Understanding of IAM policy, least-privilege access, and secure credential handling.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance applications and services used by the credential platform.
- Build HashiCorp Vault capabilities that replace features currently supported by SCV.
- Develop new integrations and plugins and onboard tools into the Morgan Stanley ecosystem.
- Support non-human credential storage in a manner compliant with relevant IAM policy.
- Perform development, engineering, operational, automation, and DevOps tasks.
- Follow architectural standards, product guidelines, and usability design standards.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
