Job summary

The Vault is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end across Go/Node.js backends and a React frontend. You will work on a security-first, API-driven platform for digital asset operations in a fully remote role.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years on production systems with Go and/or MERN, strong DDD, and solid database expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, plus daily use of AI coding tools with rigorous verification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production systems with Go and/or the MERN stack.
• Strong backend fundamentals: concurrency, APIs, reliability.
• Hands-on with DDD (not just buzzwords): model domains with clean boundaries.
• Strong database skills across PostgreSQL and MongoDB: design, indexing, migrations.
• Experience with ORMs/ODMs (GORM/Mongoose) and raw SQL when needed.
• Frontend proficiency in React (TypeScript preferred).
• Good testing discipline (Go testing, Jest/Vitest).
• REQUIRED: daily use of AI coding tools with disciplined verification.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end product features across Go and Node.js/Express backends and React frontend
• AI-assisted development: use Cursor/Copilot/ClaudeCode daily to accelerate delivery while verifying outputs
• Design backend services using DDD patterns with clean layering and pragmatic architecture
• Implement data models and migrations across PostgreSQL and MongoDB using GORM/Mongoose or raw queries
• Build and maintain REST APIs and webhooks/event-driven workflows in Go and Node.js/Express
• Implement frontend flows in React (TypeScript) with dashboards and admin UI
• Ensure observability: structured logging, metrics, tracing, and production-ready error handling
• Contribute to security: RBAC, least-privilege, safe secrets handling, audit trails
• Own quality: unit/integration tests, contract tests, and CI pipelines
