Job summary

VISION INFOTECH INC. seeks a hands-on Golang Developer to migrate features from a legacy credential system to HashiCorp Vault in a remote, six-month engagement.

The role requires 12+ years of Golang experience, strong Vault knowledge, and cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP) to support production systems with secure IAM practices. Responsibilities include building Vault capabilities, developing integrations, and contributing to DevOps tasks while aligning with architectural standards and Agile

Qualifications

• 12 years of hands-on Golang experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming concepts and ability to design robust, scalable software solutions.
• Strong hands-on HashiCorp Vault experience, including authentication backends, secret engines, and plugin development.
• Experience with at least one public cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to support production applications and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Understanding of IAM policy, least-privilege access, and secure credential handling.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Role Summary

Seeking a hands-on engineer to work with the existing SCV and Vault squad . The role will support the existing proprietary key/value credential system and migrate SCV capabilities to HashiCorp Vault .

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance applications and services used by the credential platform.
• Build HashiCorp Vault capabilities that replace features currently supported by SCV.
