Job summary
Ampcus, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Golang / HashiCorp Vault Engineer to join the remote-capable team in Chicago. You will migrate SCV capabilities to Vault and work on a proprietary key/value credential system with the Vault squad.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Golang experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming concepts.
- Extensive HashiCorp Vault experience with auth backends and secret engines.
- Experience with at least one public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Understanding of IAM policy, least-privilege access, and secure credential handling.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance applications and services used by the credential platform.
- Build HashiCorp Vault capabilities that replace features currently supported by SCV.
- Develop new integrations and plugins and onboard tools into the Brokerage ecosystem.
- Support non-human credential storage in a manner compliant with relevant IAM policy.
- Perform development, engineering, operational, automation, and DevOps tasks.
- Follow architectural standards, product guidelines, and usability design standards.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
