## **Own the launch of a new AI-powered sales engine for selling to the public sector.**

We’re Active Parks, and we’re fixing one of the hardest problems in business to government (B2G) sales: timing.

Our clients provide recreational infrastructure for cities and schools - think $100k - $1m projects like playgrounds, skateparks, trails, and more. They build the spaces that the public relies on to have fun. Their biggest barrier to growth? Knowing which cities in the market for their services.

That’s where we come in.

## What Active Parks Is

We’ve built a market intelligence platform that uses AI to predict which cities are planning to purchase what—and when. We surface those insights and deliver them directly to the companies building the future of public space.

In response to client demand, we’ve launched a new premium tier:

**The go to market service**

We don’t just give our clients data—we act as their inside sales and got-to-market team. Our GTM team reaches out directly to decision-makers, validate projects, and introduce cities to our clients at the exact right moment to facilitate a sale.

This role is your chance to run and optimize that outreach function as it scales.

## The Role

You’ll be doing high-output sales work—and owning the systems behind it. That means:

- Making 50–100 calls and emails/day to city and school adminsotrators

- Validating project timing, funding, vendor status, and decision-makers

- Representing our clients in conversations with mayors, city planners, public works staff, and landscape architects

- Attending client calls and sharing progress

- Building and testing scripts, emails, campaigns, and workflows

- Using tools like Airtable, Notion, Zapier, and GPTs to improve how we work

- Helping us scale this service across multiple accounts

You won’t just execute it. You’ll build it.

$70000-100000/yr

We expect this person to **grow into a leadership position** as the outreach function scales. You’ll help us build the playbook—and eventually train, manage, and support others on the team. This is a builder role with a clear path to management, if earned.

Our clients win or lose based on the timing and accuracy of our outreach. When we do it right, they land six-figure contracts.

You’ll be the face of their brand to the people who decide how public space gets designed and built.

This is a newly launched service. You’ll be the first hire to run it—and your work will define how it grows.

## Where We’re Headed

We’re currently focused on a single vertical: parks and recreation infrastructure. It’s an underserved niche where we’ve found strong product-market fit.

But that’s just our wedge.

We plan to expand into every B2G sector where companies sell high-ticket products to cities— EV infrastructure, solar lighting, financia services, and more.

We’re going to win because we’ve figured out how to leverage AI to extract and structure muncipal purchasing plans faster, cheaper, and more accurately than legacy players—who are bogged down by overhead, outdated infrastructure, and 20th-century workflows.

We’re building the modern go to market (GTM) system for the public sector. This role is your chance to own a critical part of it.

Building a new service at a startup is intense. Most of us work more than 40 hours per week.

## Location & Flexibility

This is a Boston-based role.

Our current team is remote, but we may open a local office soon. You should be open to working in person when needed.
