Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry‑level Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ to support missile program development. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms within GNC systems, and contribute to CFD and aero-dynamics studies.

Collaboration with a cross‑functional team will be essential to achieve system performance goals. The role requires a Master's in a STEM field, strong MATLAB/Python/C/C++ skills, and experience with Linux.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field (must be obtained by start date).
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object-Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital/modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing (electro-optical, infrared, or RF), navigation systems, sensors (IMU/GPS), and APNT and CFD.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for missile programs.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers in an integrated product team for tactical embedded software, firmware, and six-DOF simulations.
• Perform system-level or subsystem testing and evaluation to meet performance objectives.
