Job summary

Softworld, a Kelly Company, is seeking a GNC Engineer in Chandler, AZ to design, develop, verify, and test a 6DoF missile flight simulator. You will implement GN&C algorithms and support interface documentation, working with multidisciplinary teams and international partners. The ideal candidate has hands-on C++, MATLAB, and Python experience, strong missile flight dynamics background, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

U.S. citizenship and readiness for travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in STEM with 2+ years experience or Master's/PhD with less.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; TS/SCI with poly possible.
• Experience with autopilot design for guided missiles.
• Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, Python for analysis tools.
• Experience with 6DoF missile flight simulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, verify, and validate a 6DoF missile flight simulator.
• Design GN&C algorithms and implement them in software.
• Create and maintain Interface Control Documents and specs.
• Coordinate with international partner program meetings.
