Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer focused on modeling and simulation for complex missile systems. You will work with a skilled team of technologists and developers on contracts and IRADs within Missiles and Fire Control.

The role involves designing model architectures, developing 6-DOF simulations, and validating performance against requirements, with opportunities in Orlando, FL and Grand Prairie, TX. Active clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Post Secondary STEM degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen as an Interim Clearance is required to start.
• Fundamental proficiency in C++
• Proficient in either MATLAB or Python
• Demonstrated ability in GNC or Modeling & Simulation assignments

Responsibilities

• Design and document model and simulation requirements and architecture.
• Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations (6-DOF).
• Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and verify requirements.
• Perform analyses, tests, and critical studies.
• Support HWIL ground and flight test activities.
• Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings
