Job summary

AV is seeking a motivated GNC Engineering Intern to join our multidisciplinary team in the United States. You will support projects related to GN&C, flight testing, software, and hardware development, gaining hands-on experience in flight control systems and system integration.

This 12-week onsite internship is for students or recent graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA, offering exposure to real aerospace projects and a chance to relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• Completed coursework in GN&C, flight dynamics, control systems or embedded systems.
• Strong interest in aircraft systems and aerospace engineering.
• Effective communication and collaborative attitude.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of GN&C systems for aircraft projects.
• Support system testing, including simulation environments and flight test prep.
• Help implement and test basic flight control algorithms under supervision.
• Participate in subsystem integration and data analysis activities.
• Support documentation and reporting; collaborate with engineering/test teams.
• Learn engineering processes and tools relevant to flight systems.
