Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a motivated GNC Engineering Intern for a 12‑week, on‑site program in the United States. You will work on GN&C projects, flight testing, and software/hardware development under experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in flight control systems and system integration.

The role emphasizes teamwork, practical problem solving, and exposure to R&D workflows in aerospace. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant degree and ready to relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field.
• Completed coursework in GN&C, flight dynamics, control systems, embedded systems, or robotics.
• Strong interest in aircraft systems and GN&C.

Responsibilities

• Assist in GN&C system design and development for aircraft projects.
• Support system testing, including SIL/HIL and basic flight test prep.
• Help implement and test basic flight control algorithms under supervision.
• Participate in subsystem integration and data analysis.
• Support documentation and reporting; collaborate with engineering/test teams.
