Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support GMP-compliant receipt, storage, and shipment of materials for a San Diego area facility. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery of materials essential for patient care.

Responsibilities include data entry for GxP docs, inventory control, liaising with couriers, and ensuring proper labeling and safety procedures. Onsite position with health benefits and 401K options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing within a regulated industry.
• Experience with procurement and inventory management systems and procedures.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in GMP-regulated warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GMP records for all materials and products received, stocked, and shipped.
• Perform timely and accurate data entry for GxP documentation and ERP transactions.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage, and material processing activities.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Stage materials for production in accordance with site procedures.
• Load and unload trucks using industrial equipment and transfer materials to appropriate storage areas.
• Lift and move materials up to 40 pounds as required.
