Job summary

HireLifeScience is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for our 100% on-site facility in Carlsbad, CA. You will manage GMP records for materials received, stocked, and shipped, ensuring proper labeling and timely delivery to couriers.

Responsibilities include data entry for GXP/ERP, inventory reconciliation, loading/unloading trucks, verifying documents, and participating in SOPs and safety trainings. Candidates should lift up to 40 lbs and possess strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year or more in distribution, warehousing or manufacturing in regulated industry.
• Strong communication and computer skills; familiarity with MS Office.
• Knowledge of procurement/inventory management systems and procedures.
• Commitment to safety, quality and site policies.

Responsibilities

• Enter data accurately for GXP documents and ERP transactions.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage and production staging.
• Load/unload trucks and move material to storage areas.
• Inspect material, labels and documents for accuracy.
• Support SOPs, scopes of work and training initiatives.
• Operate radiation detection equipment where required.
• Adhere to company values and site procedures.
• Complete required cGMP, HS&E, Dangerous Goods training.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Job Title: The Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Location: 100% onsite - 1890 Rutherford Road suite number 200, Carlsbad, CA 92008

Shift Timings : 7 AM to 7 PM Pacific Time from Wednesday to Saturday alternative 9 AM to 9PM) (Periodic mandatory overtime may be necessary to ensure process continuity and completion)

Job description:

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for keeping GMP records of all materials and products received, stocked and shipped at the San Diego RLT warehouse facility. They are responsible for providing the correct finished goods to couriers inclusive of appropriate labeling within scheduled time frames, and in accordance with local site procedures and policies.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accurate and timely data entry for GXP documents and ERP transactions.
• Coordination of shipping, receiving, storage and processing of goods including but not limited to performing periodic inventory counts and reconciliation of discrepancies and staging of material for production purposes.
• Load and unload trucks using industrial equipment and transfer of material to proper storage areas.
• Inspect and verify material, labels and documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Actively participate and support all site and team projects and initiatives, including cross functional team projects to create Standard Operating Procedures, Scopes of Work, Training and other tasks.
• Ability to operate all applicable radiation detection equipment.
• Act in accordance with *** values and behaviors.
• Complete applicable required job specific training, cGMP, HS&E, Dangerous Goods, etc.
• NOTE: ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Role Requirements :

• Education: High School diploma or GED required. Associates or undergraduate degree in business or science related field is preferred.
• Experience:
  • Min. 1 year experience in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing in a regulated industry. Hazardous shipping training a plus.
  • Excellent communication and Computer skills. MS Office
  • Knowledge of procurement/inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills; displays a professional can-do attitude.
  • Ability to perform duties with the highest regard for safety, quality, and site protocols/policies/procedures.
