Job summary

TerrAscend is seeking a Packaging Technician for the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F) in Boonton, NJ. The role focuses on precise packaging of cartridges and tinctures, with strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, document batch data, and support continuous improvement of SOPs. Prior GMP or cannabis industry experience is preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.
• Experience in medical marijuana/cannabis industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to daily packaging schedules to meet efficiency goals.
• Verify that packaging areas, tools, and equipment are ready before each batch.
• Ensure packaging, labeling, and data reporting meet TerrAscend quality and safety standards.
• Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain filling machines, capping machines, labelers, printers, and scales per SOPs.
• Produce reliable data for batch, equipment, quality, inventory and seed-to-sale records.
