Job summary

JobSquad is seeking a Heavy Packaging Operator for a GMP-regulated facility in the Miramar, FL area. The role focuses on accurate, safe packaging of finished nutraceutical products, aligning with batch records and SOPs.

The position requires 1+ year packaging experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read batch records in English. Growth, hands-on training, and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a packaging role within a GMP-regulated facility (pharma, nutraceutical, food, or cosmetics preferred).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read and interpret batch records and SOPs in English.
• Proficient in basic math and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team player with good communication and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and set up packaging line equipment, including labelers, blister machines, bottle fillers, cappers, sealers, and cartoners.
• Pack tablets, capsules, powders, or liquids per batch records and SOPs.
• Conduct in-process quality checks (weight, torque, seal integrity).
• Complete packaging records, logbooks, and cleaning logs accurately.
• Inspect finished goods for proper labeling, defects, and specs compliance.
• Maintain clean packaging areas per GMP housekeeping standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions or deviations to the supervisor promptly.
• Support line changeovers and clearances.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety training.
