Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to support the production of dietary supplement and pharmaceutical products within a cGMP environment.

You will set up and operate packaging equipment, follow batch records and SOPs, and maintain accurate documentation. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, teamwork, and attentive, detail-oriented precision in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of cGMP in dietary supplement or pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience or training related to cleaning equipment in relevant industries.
• Ability to use basic cleaning devices and learn advanced equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all staff levels.
• Critical thinking to learn Nutramax procedures and predict effectiveness of changes.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Attention to detail and basic process analytics.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds and stand/bend as needed.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily meetings, understand instructions and organize production steps.
• Follow batch records, inventory sheets and log books for packaging.
• Follow SOPs related to equipment, products and processes.
• Transport raw materials weighing at least 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Set up and adjust packaging equipment to ensure peak efficiency.
• Operate and clean equipment per cGMP guidelines and SOPs.
• Clean rooms and equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Document work per SOP and GMP requirements.
• Train new employees on equipment operation and GMPs as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and wear required PPE.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervision and other departments.
• Handle allergen sources safely when present.
• Use electric pallet jack when required.
