Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions LLC in Madison, WI is seeking a Procurement Manager - Direct Material to lead sourcing and procurement of GMP materials for biologics manufacturing. You will define category strategy, manage supplier relationships, and ensure supply assurance and risk mitigation while collaborating with the Site Procurement Director and Global Procurement Organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in procurement, with preference for biopharma or regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement experience.
• Experience in biopharma, pharma, medical device, or highly regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Strong contract negotiation experience.
• Experience managing suppliers and procurement projects.
• Knowledge of GMP environments and direct materials sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and purchasing of GMP raw materials for biologics manufacturing.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships and performance programs.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and supply agreements.
• Identify and mitigate supply shortages and material risks.
• Partner with Supply Chain on inventory strategies.
• Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and sourcing initiatives.
• Support dual-sourcing strategies and supplier qualification efforts.
• Present savings, supplier performance, and risk updates to site leadership.
