Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Madison, WI is seeking a Buyer/Planner II to drive procurement and production scheduling for a state-of-the-art biologics facility. You will manage supplier relationships, monitor material receipts, and develop production plans aligned with demand and capacity.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, 3+ years in supply chain roles, and proficiency with JD Edwards and MM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, or related fields.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external clients, and suppliers.
• Proficient in inventory and enterprise resource planning systems (JD Edwards) and materials management systems.
• Must be able to read/write clear English.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials from approved suppliers, monitor receipts, and resolve material shortages to support on-time production.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and planning master data, including item setups, lead times, and restocking levels.
• Track, analyze, and report purchasing and inventory performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain the production schedule by analyzing customer requirements, material availability, capacity, and sequencing.
• Create, update, and monitor manufacturing work orders and inventory system changes.
