Job summary

Avantor in Chandler, AZ is seeking an on-site Team Member to support Lab and Production Services. You will receive and stock inventory, manage receipts, and ensure accurate records using scanners and proprietary software. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and prior customer service experience.

This entry-level position offers exposure to GMP environments and opportunities to grow within Avantor’s global operations while contributing to service delivery for multiple customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Previous GMP facility experience is strongly desired.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive products at customer dock or other shipping/receiving point, unpacking and de-trashing as needed.
• Record receipts of inventory against packing slips and follow up on discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels within storerooms and customer areas with back-stock.
• Transport consumables within the facility and stock POU locations as required.
• Use a scanner and proprietary software to transact stocking quantities and download transactions.
• Monitor POU audits for proper signage and record changes to items/quantities.
• Serve as point of contact for inventory availability issues and escalation.
• Support special projects such as tours and other on-site activities.
• Meet scheduling requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
