Job summary

Avantor in Lexington, MA is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our Advanced Laboratory Services team. You will manage daily stockroom activities, coordinate material handling, and keep systems aligned with customer needs and GMP/GLP requirements.

You’ll partner with suppliers and internal teams to monitor replenishment, prevent stockouts, and document inventory metrics. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in inventory management or related field.
• Experience coordinating sourcing, procurement, and replenishment.
• Familiarity with GMP/GLP or ISO-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inventory, stockroom and material management activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenishment to prevent stockouts.
• Coordinate sourcing with suppliers on order status and lead times.
• Oversee storage, handling, and distribution of lab materials.
• Track inventory metrics and maintain accurate documentation.
