Job summary

Immatics is seeking a Facilities Technician II in Stafford, TX to own daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and mechanical systems for cell therapy manufacturing environments. The role is hands-on, GMP-controlled, and supports classified spaces to ensure patient lot integrity.

The position requires strong HVAC experience, ability to work 6:00–15:00 on weekdays, and on-site presence with occasional on-call coverage for operations and emergencies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years HVAC and mechanical maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on air handling unit and built-up system work.
• Experience with VFD-driven equipment and control devices.
• Familiarity with GMP environments and change control processes.
• Ability to read drawings and SOPs and document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air handling units for classified spaces.
• Maintain air devices, dampers, VAV/CAV boxes, and HEPA housings.
• Perform routine filter management and HEPA change-outs.
• Support utilities: pumps, boilers, cooling towers, DX systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance per schedule and document compliance.
• Assist with equipment moves and change controls in GMP spaces.

Education

High School Diploma or GED with HVAC experience

Trade School Certificate/Technical certification

Valid technical license (calibration/electrical/mechanical)

Associate's Degree in technical discipline

Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline
