Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the Facilities and Engineering team in Raritan, NJ. This role focuses on maintenance support and mechanical system operations for cGMP cell therapy manufacturing on a modified second shift (noon–8:30pm).

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial manufacturing, multi-craft proficiency, strong English communication, and experience with CMMS. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and related systems while ensuring

Qualifications

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biological/Biochemical/ related field or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Trade / Technical School Certification or Certification in Craft required.
Military equivalent of Trade / Technical School certification.
Minimally 8+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing or regulated environment; cGMP cleanroom experience preferred.
Proficiency in more than one craft and strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, cleanroom HVAC, refrigeration, clean steam, cryogenic storage, and related systems.
Perform minor upgrades and installations of facilities and systems.
Support on-site equipment and critical utilities maintenance, including manufacturing equipment projects and asset management.
Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and drawings.
Maintain GDP documentation in CMMS work orders.
Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot, plan work, and anticipate problems; use hand/power tools as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and site policies.
