Job summary

Integra LifeSciences Corporation is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineering Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and install manufacturing equipment and facility systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work in a regulated manufacturing environment, adhere to GMP, OSHA, and safety policies, document activities in CMMS, and contribute to continuous improvement and CAPA investigations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, motors, drives, HMIs, and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and safe maintenance practices.
• Understanding of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Support production operations by responding to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Perform equipment set‑up, installation, upgrades, and modifications as required.
• Execute maintenance work orders and document maintenance activities within the CMMS.
• Assist with validation, qualification, and commissioning activities for new equipment and process improvements.
• Support root cause investigations and implementation of CAPA.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with GMP, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain equipment records, calibration records, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory and recommending critical replacement components.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross‑functional projects.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, confined space, and other safety procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing operators as needed.
• Participate in department training and maintain required qualifications and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
