Creighton University School of Medicine-Phoenix is seeking a GME Rural Track Program Manager
The Program Manager will lead the development and implementation of graduate medical education training programs for rural communities in Arizona. In collaboration with the GME Office and Program Directors, the manager will oversee program workflows and execution, sponsored by Creighton University School of Medicine-Phoenix.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management, implementation, and evaluation of rural track programs. Coordinate activities, schedules, and logistics for development events. Support and meet regularly with stakeholders regarding program management and project status. Act as liaison between faculty and hospital administration.
- Build and maintain relationships with rural communities, healthcare providers, and stakeholders. Represent the program at community events and develop necessary materials.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME and hospital policies. Drive application and documentation processes for ACGME recognition. Assist in preparation for reviews and site visits.
- Manage external program advertising and media, including websites, brochures, and publications. Maintain program website content.
- Assist with recruitment and training of rural training program staff. Travel to rural sites as required.
In collaboration with the rural site coordinator, support training sites, departments, and SI needs, including:
- Inform residents and trainees of policy changes with support from the GME office.
- Manage materials for trainee exams and assist with proctoring.
- Monitor program progress, track key performance indicators, and ensure policy adherence.
- Manage licensing, contracts, and credentialing compliance.
- Coordinate program events such as recruitment, orientation, and graduations.
- Maintain databases, including resident and faculty data, using established protocols.
- Handle inquiries from residents and applicants, triaging as needed.
- Provide administrative guidance to residents regarding deadlines and issues.
- Assist with resident recruitment, orientation, and rotations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years' experience in office administration, preferably in healthcare or education
- Experience with rural communities or populations is highly desirable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
