Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center Phoenix seeks a senior administrator to lead Graduate Medical Education programs, ensuring ACGME accreditation and effective operation of residency/fellowship tracks. You will supervise program coordinators, partner with Program Directors and GME leadership, and streamline processes across internal and external stakeholders.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, budget adherence, and reporting, with a Monday–Friday schedule and day shift.

Qualifications

Knowledge of medical education coordination and accreditation requirements.
Must have or obtain C-TAGME certification within two years.
Notary Public commission within 90 days of hire.
Five years of related healthcare experience with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage residency/fellowship programs aligned with ACGME requirements.
Lead a team of program coordinators and coordinate with Program Directors.
oversee accreditation reporting, surveys, licensure, credentialing, and audits.
Improve operational efficiency and manage budget performance.
Coordinate recruitment events and annual credentialing for trainees.
Collaborate with GME leadership on rotation schedules and house staff.
Document activities using Residency Management Software and prepare cyclical reports.
Maintain internal/external stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance.
Participate in GME subcommittees and continuous improvement initiatives.
