Job summary

The Residency Program Coordinator at Rochester Regional Health will manage data for the institution’s residency programs and ensure compliance with accreditation and Joint Commission requirements. The GME team supports physicians as they advance after medical school, coordinating schedules, evaluations and administrative processes to keep training programs running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Liberal Arts or Health related field required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience in database management preferred; navigating web-based data systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with GME office, other departments, residency programs, faculty and residents.
• Maintain resident schedules and biographical data in Medhub, and ensure accuracy for CMS cost reports.
• Deploy resident and faculty evaluations in Medhub; ensure that all evaluations are completed.
• Monitor resident work hour reporting process.
• Assist in the development of the budget for and facilitation of program activities (orientation, retreats, conferences, electives, in-service and awards).
• Upkeep of Kronos, Workday, and XM systems.
• Schedule 2x yearly resident evaluation meetings with program administration; maintain documentation in resident files.
• Collaborate with program directors to ensure all mandatory reporting requirements are fulfilled.
• Manage ERAS and NRMP; facilitate interview process.
• Work with GME office to facilitate resident onboarding.
• Maintain letters of agreement with rotation sites to satisfy ACGME and Medicare requirements.
• Maintain alumni training verification requests and outcomes follow-up.
