Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the operational and financial management of its residency and fellowship training programs. The role requires understanding of ACGME policies, regulatory standards, and strong coordination with faculty, residents, and external bodies.

You will manage activities, schedules, and data systems, driving program quality and compliance while supporting recruitment and scholarly activities within a large health system in Georgia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five years of experience in an administrative role as an alternative to a bachelor's degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong MS Office skills and data familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and applies ACGME and hospital policies to support compliance.
• Manages, organizes, and develops program activities and events with the Program Director.
• Schedules didactic, simulation, and patient-care related teaching time.
• Responsible for Clinical Faculty time and attendance; liaison to Corporate Compliance.
• Collaborates with GME leadership on faculty development and budgeting.
• Develops and oversees the Departmental budget.
• Coordinate recruitment efforts for the Residency Training Program, including ERAS/NIRMP processes.
• Management of Resident application, selection, and matching program.
• Maintains Resident Training Files and Residency Data System; prepares reports.
