Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Program Administrator to coordinate planning, evaluation and monitoring of the administrative staff within the Departments' Faculty Medical Practice and Fellowship program. This role ensures compliance with ACGME requirements and coordinates fellowship activities and credentialing across the department.

• Knowledge of state, federal and other outside regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of hospital medical staff credentialing and related policies.
• Leadership ability, problem-solving skills and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day management and monitoring of ACGME program requirements compliance.
• Organize accreditation activities and assist Program Directors with Program Information.
• Develop and monitor department goals, policies, and procedures; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in budget development and track department expenses and purchases.
• Coordinate fellowship activities, recruitment, and credentialing processes.
• Prepare administrative reports and support department meetings and training.
