UT Health Sciences is seeking a Financial Coordinator to manage the finances for the Graduate Medical Education (GME) departments. Under the Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration, you will oversee resident reimbursements, invoices, and onboarding, while maintaining accurate personnel and program data in New Innovations.

You will coordinate onboarding for new residents, support payroll activities, manage licenses, and advise program managers on UT policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; transcript requested.
• One year of experience managing budgets or in a university setting; or four years combined education/experience.

Responsabilités

• Onboard new residents and fellows annually with complete documentation.
• Maintain onboarding checklists in New Innovations for residents and fellows.
• Coordinate Tennessee medical license exemptions for residents and fellows.
• Process pay increases for residents advancing to the next level and terminate residents upon program completion.
• Verify monthly resident payroll and charge to correct COA.
• Handle purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement for the GME program.
• Process loan deferment forms.
• Advise GME managers on UT policies and procedures related to contracts, purchasing, financial transactions, and expenditures.
• Assist in managing the New Innovations database and keep resident records up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
