Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks an Academic Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of the St. Rita’s Medical Center GME Residency Program, in collaboration with the Program Director and GME Administration.

You will coordinate residency rotations, maintain resident files and credentialing, manage budgets and recruitment, and support program committees while ensuring CPME and ACGME guidelines are met. This role requires interaction with physicians, residents, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative support or program coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates residency rotations schedules and preceptor assignments.
• Maintains confidential resident files and credentialing records.
• Manages program budgets, stipends, and invoice processing.
• Coordinates recruitment, interviews, and onboarding of residents.
• Prepares meeting agendas and minutes for residency committees.
• Supports event planning for program-wide events and conferences.
• Serves as liaison between residents, faculty, and GME administration.
